Hi, yes another wheel and tyre question, does anyone run 16" wheels with 205x80/r16 on a freelander 1, I'm thinking of fitting a set of 16" black modulars to mine along with a 1.5" spacer kit,

So you have 2" lift, does that create any problems.

No (touch wood lol).......just make sure the camber is corrected, fit extended brake hoses, and modify the inner front wings.

Very nice mr do, the 225,s don't look to wide, maybe I,ll go to that size, was just worried about them fouling with the arch, want the chunky look but don't want to hack the outer bodywork. Urs is a freelander 2, do they sit higher as standard than the 1.

Jc600, thanks for the info, this is the wifes rig, I,ll do the required mods but don't want it to turn into a full project. I already have one of those in the driveway. Lol, a jap one.

It's a 2001 I've put the facelift lights and bumpers on tho. Bodies and arches are identical, I've got a two inch lift on it. No mods to external bodywork at all and no rubbing
