quick question, im looking to get a set of wheels/tyres for the 110 at some point and want 15" modulars, either with a set of spacers or those 'zero offset' ones, either way, will they fit around the 11" drums alright? reason i ask is ive heard people having trouble with alloys..

They should work, Zero offset with you're current tyres should make the edge of the tyre flush with your wheelarches, I've got Discovery alloys on mine that have a +33 offset and it has 30mm spacers, so it works out as a +3 mm offset in a way, but I'm doing away with the spacers soon, not too keep on keeping them on, probably going to go for some mach 5's when I need new rubber :D

Why you getting rid of the spacers Dave?

With the amount of mileage I'm doing, my insurance company don't like them. My dad only uses his 1-2 a week, so he's going to have my spacers and old alloys, good excuse for me to get some Mach 5's :D

thanks for that lads!

incidentally, ive a friend making axles for a trailer out of LR drum axles with 10" drums, and i heard that ifor williams steel rims have the same PCD as LR axles, anyone know will these fit over the drums?? :D

Land Rover PCD is 5x165 and this is 5x165.1 so I'd say it probably will fit the hub, but seeing as the wheel in the link is 13" I'm not too sure if it will go around the drum, wouldn't like to say.

I reckon a trailer with Land Rover wheels and some Mud terrain tyres would look great :D If a bit pointless :p
Or you could go with standard 16" Land Rover wheels and put some lower profile tyres on it?

yeah well thats what were looking at doing is putting LR steels on it with relatively small tyres, i think overall the diameter of the ones we have are 28" but the problem is that we might have to move the axles apart to allow for that size tyre, and this in turn sits the axles off center on the leaf springs, so were looking for ways around it :D
i suggested putting the insa turbo 35" tyres off his trayback onto it, he didnt go for it though :D

Sounds like a plan, would need the power of the engine just to turn wheels that big :D 28 is quite tall for a trailer, we recently sold a Brockhouse trailer that had 7.50's on it, it wasn't in very good condition, but we made a ridiculous amount on it :D
