my mates just picked up a 110 which has had a 3.5 litre mazda diesal enjin and auto box conversion done on it..

its been stood for 14 months,so he took a new battery and connected it up and the enjin sprung into life straight away..

ive never come accross this conversion and wonderd whether anyone else has any experience of this conversion

A mate of mine had one in a RR many moons ago. Twas very impressive, loads of torque and don't think he ever had any bother with it.

considering its been stood for 14 months it looks good and £500!!

yeh hes well chuffed..

he cant make is mind up whether to bling it up a bit mot it and use it as a road car.
or stick some 35" mts on it winch and bumper and other goodies and use it as a toy

bearing in mind this is another project for us both to work on,and we havent started the galvanised chassis replacement on the series 3 yet,and next week we are supposed to be putting another 300 tdi enjin in his 90 offroad toy,and he has a disco 2 v8....

i had to ask him why the fook did we need another project??
cos its got a 3.5 doozil init and its only 500 smackers he said

so what do we do to it?
road going pretty landy or offroad plaything?

ive never driven a 110 offroad so dont know what to expect from it if we went down that route
