110 underbody floor supports - HELP REQ'D

Hi,

Can anyone advise me on what I need to do to replace the underbody floor supports. Would I need to remove the tub or does anyone know of a different way.

Hopin someone out there can throw some light on this one.

Yep rear door off, Roof off, sides off, back lights disconnected, tub off, turn tub over drill rivets out of existing tub, replace body support bars and reassembly is the reverse of the above.

It's not as big a job as it sounds. Wiring bit is probably the diffcult bit, Photo & label all the connections before you disconnect it all. Door is just 3 hinges Roof is held on by about 20 M6 bolts, you can take the roof and sides off together if you want to, in which case theres a lot fewer bolts to undo. If there's 2 of you allow 90min to 2hrs to get the tub off. an hr to do the struts, and another couple of hrs to put it all back together. Full day will see it all done and dusted

A fortune for what is a really really simple job..

As its been my pride and joy for the last 7 years, I'll have to make a decision whether to attempt it or get shut,

Where are you based. If you're not sure you can manage the job there are plenty of people who will give you a hand with it if you're local to them.
