Anyone know if a 110 300tdi has a push fit from fuel pipe to sender coz the pipe has thread an the sender looks like it should be push fit (see pic) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342336835.852984.jpg

When I did replaced my tank and sender unit I changed it to a flexible fuel hose which was a tight push over the sender and used a suitable jubilee clip. So much easier to disconnect and reconnect when working and the tank needs dropping. I did the same on the return hose on the top of the tank too. The guys who replaced my rear cross member for me thanked me and remarked that it was the easiest 110 tank they'd ever done...

Ive had a look on busters guide an google and everyone else seems to have a small copper pipe an two plastic type push fittings an electric plug like this (see pic) coming out of sender unit. It's the feed to engine ImageUploadedByTapatalk1342413558.454988.jpg

But my mates only has the two plastic push fit things an electric plug

Any ideas how to connect the main fuel line as its holding us back from putting the body back on. we need to get it ready for Eastnor Lanny show

Cheers guys
