thought of second hand? mine galv with checker plate and ladder from nathan was £125+travelling to collect. Tried ebay?

budget wise as cheap as really, want a full length one. i dont know why i want one really?!? my landy had one on when i viewed it befor buying it but the previous owner removed it. so just like look of em with a rack.

Those things weigh a metric ****tonne, and will make your 110 more unstable with all that weight on the roof. Wouldn't be surprised if you lost some fuel economy too. I wouldn't bother mate unless you really need one.

yup got a HD brownchurch extended one, which is about as heavy as it gets and it doesnt effect economy, just makes it whistle a bit above 60. thing that makes the differance is me tyres

I've got 3 bars, which I use for carrying ladders and timber. When I need to carry other stuff, I've got a sheet of 1" Marine ply which bolts on to form a flat platform.
The 3 bars were about £180 from First Four.

My 110 is stable with a full length galvanised and checkerplate all over. I got the spare up there as well and usually pick the odd pallet up for firewood and sling that on as well.
Got soft springs on the front off a Disco 1 as well and it rides loverly.
Not goin to mention the fuel as it's a V8 but not using any more even on a run as long as I keep to my usual sixty or less.:)

Fair enough, it's just when I had a galv roof rack on my previous 110, I could definitely feel the difference in performance and motorway handling. That thing was a 19j though :D
Point is, I wouldn't stick a heavy roof rack on if you're not going to use it, would you?
