tried searching for any info on this but have fell short so far.

Just wondering is there any way of fitting them? I know, hardly needed but would be nice all the same to be able to drop them down quickly me thinks especially when needing some better visibility as they are already tinted or when they are covered in mud:)

Anybody have any opinions on this?

Be handy as my rear window winders have developed an annoying habit of winding down an inch or so that I have to keep reaching back and closing them every so often :p

easy fix for that, remove winder, and move it round so its downward "weight" is closing the window, and fill the hollow on the back with a bit of weight (I used a strip of lead) hey presto, simple fix :)

Haha, heater actually works fairly well actually :)

Yea, I know the window winder is a very easy fix by just rotating it but I was using this as an excuse to maybe fit electric windows as Im getting new doors for it soon too.

I've got carpets and a stereo in mine:eek::eek::behindsofa::bolt:

I have carpets, air con, heated windscreen, abs, stereo with a DVD player, heated seats, electric front windows, soon to be cruise control. Shall I leave to te range rover section? :behindsofa: :bolt:

Was thinking the front mechanisms might work alright but wondering would they be too long at the back of the door where it leaves room for the wheel arch... One way to find out I suppose :)

Electric windows in a Defender?:eek: You will be telling us you want carpets and a stereo next.

County spec so already have carpets and also the factory Alpine headunit.
Heated seats, cruise control in the pipeline :p

Whats wrong with making your Defender a nicer place to be in anyway and alittle more refined for longer journeys? It still does what its suppose to for work towing and around the farm and plays in mud at every odd weekend :)

Could have got some piece of japscrap and had all these things already but they look sh!te, are worth less than nothing after a few years and cost a fortune if anything breaks on them in comparsion... so I think I'll suffer on trying to make my Defender just as nice to live with :D

I think me and you have brought the wrong vehicles, we should leave for the rangey section

Nah, I enjoy making things better anyway rather than jus getting something all done out of the box :D

Plus... You can't get a crew cab pickup range rover :p
