110 judder still

Have you had that feeling when you think you have fixed a problem, fire her up, drive her out then your heart sinks when the same problem is there?! I still have rear end judder on the 110 but at least have shiny new shoes both sides and a new wheel cylinder!
What am I looking for on the UJ's and propshafts guys and gals? this is the next are of elimination before I call in the professionals and open the wallet. Save me!

Simular problem on my 90 proved to be the handbrake drum running out a true and catching the brake shoes and causing a shudder. I slackened of the handbrake adjuster to prove the fault

To check the prop and UJ's, get under the wagon and wobble them. If there is any movement at the joints, then you will need to replace the UJ's.

If they feel fine, then it could be one of the props are not balanced correctly. You could try rotating them:

- Mark the prop and output flange, so you know where it was,
- Undo the bolts between the prop and the output flange,
- Lower the prop
- Jack the vehicle so that one of the wheels is off the ground.
- Turn the wheel so that the prop rotates half a revolution
- Check the gearbox output for any movement\wobbles
- Re-attach the prop

The other way to check if a prop is the cause, is to remove it and have a short test drive with diff-lock on.

Sure enough the handbrake was stuck on. A persuader and some adjustment seems to have sorted it. Thanks again to the forum for the time and trouble to help me out.
