Evening,

The time has come to trade in my beloved Defender for something the missus will actually drive (I know, I did think about trading her in instead). I'll probably end up with a Disco2, but I'd like your opinions on what you think my 110 is worth.

It's a 1997/P 300TDi County Station Wagon in Epsom Green. 260k miles but with stacks of history (10k+ of receipts) and goes brilliantly.

Fitted with Exmoor high-back middle row seats & cubby box.

Some of the things I've done (or had done) in the last 2.5 years are:
Replacement rear crossmember
New steering box
New shocks
New radiator
New glow plugs
New diesel lift pump
5 new tyres (recent)
New wiper motor
Cam belt (14k miles ago)

Basically, it's been very well looked after.

I know this is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question, as it's only worth what someone's willing to pay, but I'd still be interested to see what you guys think.

Cheers,

Jud

Redhand - thanks, I'll take a look at fleabay now, hadn't thought of that. Was just looking at Autotrader and the prices seem to vary massively, which isn't much help.

Minty - cheers, wanna buy it? :D

I've got a 95 300TDi 110 CSW and paid 3000. Yours looks in bloody good nick compared to mine. 110 CSW with all seats are rare I believe so would think about 5 or 6 but difficult to tell from photo's - I take it the crossmembers and outriggers and bulkhead are all good???

Crossmembers and bulkhead are good, but one of the outriggers is rusted. That said, it's passed two MOTs with it like it, so I haven't done anything about it. I was told that it's not load-bearing, so didn't make a difference to the MOT. Which is why I never bothered getting it sorted.

The Disco 2s that I've seen are around 6k, so the closer I get to that the better.

I've not long sold my 110csw, that was more or less same as yours, but 95 on an N, 211k miles, got £5250 for it. I ebayed it on a classified ad (30 days). Phone wasn't ringing off the hook though, think the miles put some folk off. Hope this helps.
