Hi guys new to this forum, currently re-building/ building a 110...

Starting on the chassis in the next week and before I start trawling google for repair sections does anyone know the best place to buy the repair sections. The main but that is rotten is the a frame crossmember...

Any replies much appreciated

Thanks Rutlover

Which cross-member / parts of the chassis is rotten? Front, middle or back

If it is the rear cross-member you can buy kits. I'm not so sure with the other cross-members. Apart from that you will need to buy some 3mm plate and a MIG welder.

It would probably a good idea to get a new chassis if the cross-member has gone through as other parts of the chassis may not be far behind. It depends on how far you are going with the re-build.

Center crossmember where the A frame bolts to as I stated.. Love to get a new chassis but money does not allow me to do this. I'm a weld/fabricator so making one is not an issue but for the time and materials I thought I may be able to buy one for similar sort of price?

Thanks rutlover

You dont get them :(

Though there would be a market....

Nothing says it has to be a box. Its a round on a disco :)

I know of one 90 with a flat 12mm plate as a x member.
