Hi guys, need some advice. My 15p cylinder head has a tiny crack that appears to pressurise the coolant only when up to temp. Its a not over heating and its only loosing a very small amount of coolant through the overflow pipe over a period of time.

I have access to a good 10p head as I cant lay my hands on a good 15p head for reasonable money.

Question is, can i fit the 10p head (with my 15p injectors in) ????

Thanks in advance

I'm 100% certain that you can cos it was done before... unfortunately i can't tell you what's the trick for that cos it exceeds my skills, IIRC beside the injectors you need a proper gasket, you have to swap the camshaft too and fit a Eu2 FPR... i have the feeling that the rocker cover has to be the 10P one cos the gasket is certainly different. Somebody more mechanically skilled than me should be able to tell you for sure

Sounds like a fair bit to get it right then. May try steel seal. It runs nice and cool even when pushed a bit, its had fresh coolant and a new top hose and stat.

Joys of a td5, i need another 300 lol
