Ok me thinks I have sorted it ,I have opened both bleed valves and only water is coming out .In my haste to sort it I reilised I had not added the antifreeze  This is me being lazy:pbut as far as I am aware I will need 3L of antifreeze is there away to drain off the 3L instead of the whole thing ? I really don't want to go down that route again

I'd allow the water to flow out the lower bleed screw while topping the header up with concentrated coolant. Close the bleed screw when the water changes colour to the coolant. Then over the next few weeks, top up with concentrated coolant, as the last of the air purges out. If you start with a measured quantity of concentrated coolant, you'll know you have the correct ratio, when you've used the measured amount.

Thank you lads one thing I have noticed is every now and then there is a leak from the back of the engine I have had a look and can not see were it is coming from . I know the manifold o rings have been changed ,then sometimes nothing it seems when it starts to pressurize it stops . Then again it is a k series engine next job antifreeze

It could be the inlet manifold, it's not unknown for the gasket to get nipped when it's refitted. If you're unlucky tho it could be the head gasket.
