As the title suggest, I was fortunate enough to meet up with Shimsteriom (thanks again! And how do you tag??) today who brought his Nanocom to read out the faults on my D2.

After resetting, going for a ride and reading out again. I was left with one (yes amazingly just one, so far) fault code.

*(1, 7) air flow circuit, (logged low)*

Anyone seen this before and/or tips before I take it all out?

Thanks

It was a really nice day, and we got sidetracked looking at a lovely classic car.... I'll arrange another time to meet up with him and do a live readings run.

As long as that fault code keeps coming back the live readings will only confirm that so if the original one is not very dirty, the wiring is not chaffed or F2 is not blown you can buy the sensor from now IMO

Got some live data readings from @RBoshuis Disco tonight, and from my initial review, the MAF actually seems OK (to me!) giving readings of about 35-50 at idle going up to 500 under max load. I've advised him to check the ECU for any oil in the plugs as well.
Now, I'm not going to pretend to know what I'm talking about when it comes to the fanciful operation of the TD5 with all its wizardry as I'm still learning :), so he may well be back on here to ask more questions. He's got copies of the data files now so at least he can answer questions about live data readings.
