I assume they are designed to bolt a plate down in front of the radiator grill probably for a winch, didn't know i owned them till tonight, but like them...

Anyone ever come across them before?

They look to me, like MOD Bumperettes. They attach to each end and on top of the normal bumper.

Really? Oh. how disappointing. There i was thinking i could have some cool 1/3rd bumper setup.

(though i thought these were bumperettes:

as they have mount points at both ends to support it, mine just have one mount point - but have a bit above it which is exactly the same level as the chassis before it drops down at the front for the front leafs...

Yu was probubbly rite in ya 1st post. I reckon they bolt to a winch mounting anorl. More pics speshully of the backs would giv a better idea though as it's difficult to see in that pic.

Well, they didn't do what i thought they did. The only thing i think they can do is sit BELOW a standard bumper (not a great plan for off-roading i don't think) and even that would involve some grinding first - they must be ****part as the welds are not smooth at all and too proud to fit onto the chassis.

HOLD ON! i got them on my 110 an they is ****!!! i nudged a log whilst laning once an the thing ripped itself out of its mounting bolts and damages the underside of the front wing. there is a special plate that goes between to mount the plate. avoid.

Damn! now you've said that i'm not gonna be able to put them in the for sale section :/

eBay it is then :) :) :)
