04 HSE Stalk controls

Hello all,

I have been looking for ages to find an adaptor for my after-market head unit.
I have an 04 HSE with the harman/kardon speaker system and for the life of me can't find an adaptor that fits!

I have the PC99-x91 but this doesn't fit any connectors.

is my only option to cannibalise the adaptor and splice the wires together or is there some rare device that i am unable to find?

Hi I think you need a "patch lead" to go with it. I just bought a pioneer unit and that unit requires a the small phono jack. For example autoleads patch lead part no for a Sony is pc29-Sony.

I have the patch lead and all, the issue is with connecting to the vehicle wiring. I will try to grab an pic tonight to help explain

Ok, so you are trying to fit the adapter to the vehicle radio loom. The harmon system might need a completely different adapter if that is the case. Go to the autoleads website and see if they have something simlar to your car loom plugs.

Unfortunately, they don't. Not that I could see at least.

OuttySE - Did you have any luck in finding something? I'm after the same thing.

I have the same problem - I have the PC99 - X91 and the correct patch lead...did anyone manage to find an alternative lead or suitable connector to fit??

doing my head in that it doesn't work correctly

For anyone else who is having this issue - I am told that there is NO harness available to ensure the steering controls work when replacing the head unit..apparently something to do with it being the Karmen Hardon system...bummer....if anyone finds a solution I would be grateful if you would share
