Not sure about 'common' issues for it. @holidaychicken played with his V8 quite a bit, so may be able to advise. But diagnostics and L322 go hand in hand. Possibles could be bad coils , cylinders switched off ( hence the how long have they ignored it for) , mass air meter and I think but not sure that hoses can also be an issue.
Best to get diagnostics and get the codes.

Hi mate,

Decided not to take the risk on that particular L322 but bought another one. It’s a 52 plate 4.4 v8 Vogue. Mot’d for a year and seems in good order mechanically, only issue to note is the bloody stereo in it.... it’s the sat nav head unit with dsp. Screen switches on and off on occasions and menu options switch from white to black at times too, plus any time I play radio or cd in it the music only plays for a few mins before cutting off. I can switch it off and back on and boom I have music again then same happens....

Do you have any experience of this?

Not that particular issue but others have. Sadly the search function is not working but I believe if you do a Google search and include :landyzone in the search , you should be able to search the site for previous posts with the same issue.

I think that is controlled by the electronics in the boot , left side as looking at it, prone to getting wetter than @tomcat59alan at a village people reunion

Audio could be the BM54 unit and the video could be the display unit or the video module....

As HC says above, check the nearside rear quarter for signs of water ingress.

Can I have my CHIP costume back, I'm fed up with the rude comments and puns when I dress as a steel ERECTOR.

I know I saw something similar just before the site went off piste(or on p*ss). I might even have posted on it, because of the issues with the screen on the Golden Girl, but without the search function, finding it is like a needle in a haystack.

I remember that one.....I was hogtied face first against the third pane on the right......missed most of the action on the bed, but at least I had a good view out the window!
