Hello I'm new to the forums, I purchased a 2000 freelander commercial to use occasionally for work, 108k on the clock L series engine, I work laying pipelines and hydrants for farmers and sometimes need to access fields.
I noticed that mine doesn't have HDC or traction control and I just wanted to ask if it is possible to fit the system, I have access to 2 other freelanders a family member is parting out. Has anyone done this before? Is hill descent control worth it? I guess it makes up for not having a low range gearbox and would be helpful to me for pulling pipe out on jobs.
I also shut the passenger door a bit hard and now the window isn't functioning I used to work as a strip fitter in a crash repair centre so in guessing it's the plastic clips that hold the glass to the regulator, does anyone know where to get replacements?
I'm also looking to block off the EGR valve and put a decat on to liven it up a little bit.
Thanks in advance for your help.
