My main beam doesn't work when switched on, however I can flash the main beam.

Fuel gauge isn't working. The man I bought it off said the wires are off the sender unit, how easy is it for these to get at?

Windscreen wipers, when switched to the second speed they stop, any ideas?

Rear wiper isn't working, any ideas?


Finally, does anyone know the capacity of the fuel tank on an M reg 300tdi 90?

drivers seat out, or if rear follow the three wrapped wires to the top of the tank, then test all 3 positions of the crimps as they will effect the reading of the gauge, when its right yerl kno

1 dodgy switch
2 under drivers seat
3 dodgy switch or wiper motor connector block
4 check to see if there's power getting to it? if not switch if yes motor knacked
5 approx 10Gall

wiper switch is a common fault you need a replacement try shorting it with a bit of wire to see if it'll go.

Check all your fuses as well i think there might be a separate fuse for flashers and full beam.

I'm pretty sure the tank is smaller than that around 40-50 litres bang it in google.

Ah tried to lift the passenger seat up but it wouldn't budge, all I could get it to do was the backrest to flip forwards. Is there another handle somewhere?

just lift the fooking base up at the front and give it a good tug

get a firm grip and give it a pull, i'm sure you can do that

That is english, if you want it in frog it's about 45 litres
