So to evaluate....................
It wasn't:
low on compression,
It wasn't:
a sticking valve.
It wasn't:
Valve stem oil seals.
It wasn't:
worn rings. (as above compression)
Lmao!..
My bet is that this engine USED TO HAVE, but DOES NOT NOW HAVE, the fumes control device fitted to the top of the rocker cover, or if it does have it that it is buggered or jammed wide open.

I had the same problem with my game, disconnected the vacum assit and everything ran great. It run better with the vacum assit disconnected
Fundamentals to start with.
Oh yea. If you use an airline in the wrong place keep your eyes open for projectiles fireing from your carb. You probably will need them back LOL.
