I've been watching those over and over - and just laughing out loud.

My fave is still he V8 to V6 - but a bit cruel now!



Just cleaned most of Wales off my Disco - got about 90% off. ow finding all the little holes full of mud.
I don't think they expected anyone to talk them off road - there's loads of little mud scoops!!

Tomorrow night I might clean the top side as well so that it looks nice again.

If you can remember we were chatting about taking a RR (whatever) down some of the scratchy lanes and how most P38 and later RR's don't go off-road or even green-laning much ... Pics are of my mate in his P38, and yes it did come down the track (bomb-hole) that the Defender is just about to come down .. the last one is it going up Pindale and looks tame, but if you know the route, it's narrow, technical and it had been tipping it down all weekend .. didn't falter one bit!!

Nathan, had a chat with someone who works at Merlin (might now be Stratstone) Landrovers in DOncaster ... he reckons the first 'fix' would be to replace all the Autobox oil and there's a filter too ... apparently it could be as simple as that! He asked "when it stopped, was it a shuddering sort of stop, or just gave out and no drive immediately? Apparently if it shuddered and vibrated a lot it's almost certainly oil related, but even if it just stopped working it's worth a try.

Gotta be worth £25 (whatever you can get it for) of oil before buying a whole new 2nd hand box ...
