thank **** fur THAT!
Did you take it back to Research? What 'comments' were exchanged?
Remember, you MUST check the torque on the brake calipers, drag link ball joints, & everything else 'touched' within 50-100 miles.... going to get that Lidl Torque Wrench or shall I shift the Chavic off the drive again........ cos it ent over, y'know, till the Tall Landy-Ship 'Shines'......
What's left on the 'tidy-up' list?
Did you fit new hand-brake shoes when you got the new cable, or has she still got the 'reclaimed' ones in?Great News though, and BIG relief...... makes it all seem worthwhile......
- Front bearings to replace
- Second hand front calipers of correct width to procure, overhaul & fit
- Track Rod Ends to replace & tracking to set
- Brake Drum Screws, rear wheel drums & hand-Brake Drum, to procure and fit.
- Chassis run & master to front flex pipe brakes pipes to make & replace
- Rear Near Side wheel cylinder to renew, when 'non-****part' replacement available
- 'matching' wheels, with the same off-set, to sort from pile, fit best tyres to and fit up.
- Wheel-spacers to be replaced when funds allow due to worrying 'witness' marks
- numerouse 'bad earth' and wiring anomolies to be traced and fixed.
- the MOTHER of all steam-cleans booked & new pressure washer, or at least new Pressure washer hose, bought and USED!!!!
- LOTS AND LOTS of TLC with wire brush & Wet & Dry on bits of underneath and flakey 'accessories'
- Lots and Lots of black-Smoothrite to be slapped on everything toughed by wire brush or wet & dry!
you could tidy your room cos you will need space for fixin engines next..
..Nope kitchens fer welding stupid........isn't that what the kitchen's for BoB??![]()
