hi all

my 1998 p38 won't start. failed to start when i finished work.. RAC diagnosed problem as in-tank fuel pump. Mechanic changed this but still won’t start. Checked injector pump in engine which works. It cranks up but won’t start. Help me please…

diesel or petrol?

if petrol, check there is petrol at the fuel rail, if diesel ask someone else cos i dont know nuffin bout diesels!

First off, make sure the fuel filter is full of fuel, then Crank it over and slacken the injector unions in turn as it is turning over, if you get fuel comming out of the joint nip it up again and you should hear it pick up. Do this in turn to each injector.

when cranking up, no smoke. not airlocked as this been checked. we have fuel in the engine...please continue with other possible solutions as i really appreciate all your advice...

are you gonna make me a sensible offer for the rangie or wot? you could buy this one instead 280357983457
