Thought I'd throw this one out before I start tinkering, recently bought my 110 *Landie newbie* and the door pillars under the windscreen are rusted through offside worse than nearside.

My question is this........... can I just buy and fit the sections that are gone or do I have to fabricate them myself?

Cheers

Damien

Has someone got a diagram or something that lists all the parts for defenders and gives the part number? And is there anywhere on the net that literally does all the panels? For example I haven't found anyone that sells hardtop van panels, or another one that I'm after is the body panel that the rear fog mounts to, its only a small panel, but mine is shagged.

Cheers

Now theres a grand question, would make life a little easier if someone did have this.

Only thought as most places seem to do the basic panels, but am struggling to find somewhere that does all parts. I also have a classic mini and the parts for that are so easy to source, you can literally buy any panel from most places.

Yes there is a LR parts catalogue.

I have it here, I would send it to you but the files are too big.

I will arrange to get it hosted on a webserver for a while and you can download it.

Thats pretty spot on, but doesn't have all panels does it? Are either of the panels I mentionned in there or am I blind :(

Oil Dripper, if its not over 100mb (and loads of people don't wanna download it) you could use yousendit and post the address up here.

Why not just phone the place up? Not all companies list all the products available in the catalogues ..

Do you mean the bulkhead? That supports the windscreen.

Sorry did not know it was all one unit, its only rusted through where it connects to the door pillars, below the top hinges, do I have to rip out the whole bulkhead or is it ok to cut out and fabricate the rusted bits?
