Not today, it's early, but yesterday I mostly just fossicked about looking for rust and ****e .. Very little on the boot floor, but the sound pad was wet through, so I'm now looking round for something more suitable to put in there. Has anyone replaced theirs, and if so what did you use?

Checked headlights as left one wobbled a bit, one of the cups was broke so replaced that. Did a bit of Kurust coverage around the light boxes and battery mount/inner wings, but nothing to speak of really. Well impressed, only small scabs of rust, everything's mostly solid and still same colour it should be! ;)

Sills looking reasonable, certainly not rusty, but might need attention soon, so we've again started to look at rockguards/treesliders/sill replacements. Got materials, just need some round tuits now.

And my nephew and his welding kit .. ;)

I wondered about that .. inch of weld, four inched nothing then another inch of weld .. bloody poor if you ask me .. ;)

Good call, we've got a screwfix literally at the end of the road at the end of our road, chers .. ;)

I was on about siliconing the matting in place. As the rot is caused by water seeping under the soundproofing and lying on the floor, As you've foundout yourself the LR soundproofing acts like a giant sponge and hold the water in. The rubber mat won't do this. so you can either fit it in 2 strips and leave it so it's removable, or silicone it in permanently.

fitted the drivers side side step, was a bitch though...just need to cut a notch in my door lining (dont ask!!)

Adjusted the free play out of the steering box... what an easy job! then measured the front wheel alignment and thought I'd better adjust the tracking...

adjustment bar on track rod siezed... after smacking me face into the brake disc, I gave up! Tyre's knacked anyway, so I'll get the tyre fitters to free it up :)

just had another piggy back coz the clutch slave cylinder is fooked,
managed about 3 miles changing with no clutch then had to stop at a junction an that was the end of that!
