yes ya can, just push the small lever to the far left off the landy and the diff lock will llight.

Remember dont do this on 'normal' tarmac roads as it will fook up ya transmission :D

Used Hi-Diff here in Bristol this morn :) the company has taken the line, if we cannot get in due to adverse conditions we have to take it as holiday or unpaid leave! ****ers. So i HAD to get in today. Only 8miles away, but it was still sketchy in places. Low diff on some hills!

Ive been locking up my TRUCKS diff all week in high ratio, round the occasional bend that looked particualy suspect. And when towing those useless Mercs and BMWs up icy hills. :D

Be very careful locking the centre diff on slippy roads because you may CAUSE the very slipping you are trying to avoid.

Locking the centre diff forces both prop shafts to turn at the same speed, but when you turn a corner (left or right - it makes no difference) the rear prop shaft must turn a little less quickly than the front shaft because the back axle "cuts the corners" as it were. In some circumstances, like turning tight corners the effect may be enough to cause one end of the car to spin its tyres and make you slip.

Believe me.

I do belive you. But id rather force it to slip an inch or two than have spin up!
