check for a leaking injector O ring on a TD5 engine.
I took the top cover off me engine to see if I could spot which injector O ring is leaking fuel into my engine oil. Wishful thinking but you never know.
So far so good until I started the engine.
A TD5 does a good impression of an oil rig blowout - even at idle.
The timing chain chucks the oil everywhere and gallons of it.
Now I've got a massive clear up job as well as a leaking injector and I still dont know which one it is.
In hindsight I did not need to start the engine as the fuel pump pressure is 60 psi and stays the same whether the engine is running or not.
Learn from a prize tw@t and dont do the same unless you like swimming in oil.
Cheers
