Hey Boomer, it is running A1 on petrol

I thought it wasn't because I was flicking back and fore between petrol and gas, however I was told that I should drive on nothing but petrol to give the adaptive learning ECU summat or other to give it chance to be spot on, and the mechaninc was right!!
When I first bought the car, she was running right, it was only after 2 month of owning her that she went wrong, I wouldn't have bought it if it was running like it is now when I went on the 35 mile test drive,
technically I've only spent about £180 on getting the gas tuned up and diagnostics to diagnose what the problem might be, both diagnostics sessions with the same garage, they are 99.999999999% sure it's because she is running lean, yes I've bought a new coil pack, bout £150 and new leads (£80) but the leads would have been getting done anyway, I also wanted the rocker cover gasket fixed as the oil is ****ing out of it faster than I can pour it in the top of the engine so I thought while the inlet manifold was off to do the coil pack (heard they can break down) while we were in there to save 3/4 hours labour at a later date
I have been advised by Tinley Tech to fit the leads and coil pack and re tune it, then if the guy who tunes it can't get it to go right they want him to call them so they can walk him through some other stuff to see if injector rails/condensor/ECU are faulty, I have been toying with the idea of converting my system to an AEG system ( I presume all I need to change is the ECU, Condensor, Injector Rails, some piping and wiring????) as AEG is what my local LPG specialist specialises in...
