Freelander 1 TD4 missing IRD bolt

Just hoping someone could give me the bolt size please as marked on the pic for reference as just found out after a gearbox seal was replaced that the garage either haven’t put the bolt in or it’s shaken out Any help is really appreciated, Mikey

Strange that one is missing, of the 4, its the easiest by far to put in and secure.

Strange that one is missing, of the 4, its the easiest by far to put in and secure.

I could move the IRD casing about 3 or 4mm by lifting the propshaft so I’m not convinced about the other 3 being secure to be honest. Just hope there’s no damage done. I tried to look on a parts catalogue but wasn’t sure which bolt is was.

I forget if all 4 bolts are the same spec.

If you don't get any luck, with a part number/spec.

You could try removing another bolts and see if it fits the missing location. Then you know what you need.

Alternatively, a trip to a breakers yard and grab the bolt.
