To quote him, he has a diag, but reckoned it wouldn't do a proper job, so he'll send it to the dealer for a proper fix.. has he scammed me?

It should regen itself if yer drive it gently continuously up to speed. It will get warm, know it needs a regen and do so when circumstances allow. If fer eggsample a sensor has failed or a wire come oft, then the regen process may not wurk. A diag will give an error code to say fer sure why its not wukkin. On the ocasion its all ok, a forced regen by a diagnostic tool is possible anorl.

thanks, there was a warning on the dash 'take to dealer' and had no power at all, felt software limited', i'm sure it will get fixed properly or i can throw it back.. just need to get the unlock codes for my nanocom haha

i've got one, love it! don't use it all the time but sometimes if i've had to hang washing up inside to dry

Air-powered reciprocating saws:
lighter,
cheaper, even the best quality ones cost less than the cheapest batt or corded
can get into smaller places
don't need to charge batts which also wear out eventually.
electric ones get hot.

Yes they need a compressor with decent air delivery, I've already got one.
Yes they are noisy but then all are, at least I can shut the door on the compressor so the only noise will be the saw itself, and I'll be using it out doors mostly, or in the garage workshop where its noise would only bother me and I can wear ear muffs.
This is why I want one.
Also with money saved I could buy other air powered tools like a die grinder, which can be fitted with a thin circular saw blade for fine work.
So what do people think? Sealey?

Thanks all, I am now on a course of antibiotics. The knock on effect is I have to delay the next injection which was planned for today. Hopefully it won't undo the good work the loading dose has done but getting the infection under control is paramount.
