I had a €1k shutter made in Frogland, could have done it myself in a day or even much less. Only paid for it cos, a/ thort it was going to be cheaper and b/ cos I wasn't sure how they would mount it on those feckin honeycomb type bricks we have over there. but it's stuck in my craw ever since. And it wasn't even made as well as the others which I would have made the same way, i.e. with steel reinforcement rods,Bear in mind its an edited version with some bits not shown. My dottirs ex-husband makes all this sort of stuff he's made some for us in the past, damn fine stuff but then he has spindle moulders, planer thicknesser, both giganto style etc etc. If he'd bin in Frogland I'd a got him to make this shutter maybe, and he'd have known how to mount the fecker!

It's an eco thing from the EU. Can clog an egr valve and choke an engine if not cleared through properly. All about emmisions pish.
