You mean you dont park them in a nice heated garage:rolleyes:

The P38 normally gets the garage, but the 90 was in to have some butch stuff fitted so got left out a little longer than normal:).

oh and the garage only gets heated when I light the wood burner so me spanner’s don’t get cold when I have to pick them up against my tender skin:D.

Exhaust complete. I can't detect any leaks but we shall see what the MOT man says on the 20th.
I think I may have found the source of the leak.

The new section joints, no evidence of any blowing as yet :)

Nothing with Otto this weekend, hoping to do some exhaust patching during the week though, and get him booked in for rear brake replacement.

Did see another P38 on the road in south Manchester though - smart grey / charcoal looking very healthy and happy.

Heard back from the hospital ( garage). Norhing more than a flat battery! So much for recovery agent. He had it overnight before taking to specialist and could've saved me the inconvenience and a trip ( once I am out of isolation) by just putting her on a trickle charge.

recovery agents are mostly no more than taxies for dead cars these days, even aa once diagnosed a failed wheel bearing when it was just lose wheel nuts

The guy is a local mechanic/garage owner. However, he is not Range Rover knowledgeable, but no excuse for not trying a charge. He couldn't start it with a pack, so just sent low loader. Personally I think the Golden Girl just wanted a trip to the bright lights :D

Did the fluids and filters last night although I ran out of diff oil after the rear axle so the front will have to wait. My oil cooler pipe leak is getting real bad underneath!

Holy f*ck. Have you seen the price of EP75w/90R?! I got some clearance stuff for £20 but price quote from my local place was £50. The stuff from Eurocarparts is £45. If you see it cheap, fill yer boots!

Replacment landrover struts came got chucked on and Its been used and used and used,
My 320d i was running blew its turbo at 205k miles turbo sheered in half and ran dry of oil so in that i threw in an m57 204bhp model with a few mods its like 300bhp and 440ibft but iv got bored of that already so its coming apart again,

I have found myself a 218bhp x5 with a 6 speed zf auto and also seen you get adapters to run the original transfer box behind the zf 6 gearbox, and if if the rr is as bmw as the electrics like any bmw conversion everything else abs, cluster, and everything will just work as it currently does,
