What did you do with your Range Rover today

Started stripping down the other side in prep for change of seals and bearings on the front hub, suprisingly easy, same as the other side no bolts seized, even the brake joints came apart lovely. 3/4 of the way to finishing it off, seals and bearings changed. Too cold to carry on much longer so with luck finish tomorrow between other things. Might as well do a brake fluid change to finish it all off.

Had a sort of clanging lately like front exh pipe is loose? Obviously pipe is okay, looked underneath at the exhaust manifold area - all looks clean so guessing that’s not leaking. Only other thing can think of in that area is the dmf :eek:
Win for today finish putting it back together tomorrow

Heat shield above the exhaust and under the driver's seat? UJs?!

Lose my **** with it. Yesterday the MFD started saying driver window not set. Couldn't be arsed to set it figured I'd sort it today. Came out of work, car unlocks. Drivers doesn't. For some reason the car doesn't appear to recognise its existence. Locks unlocks with key in the door, but doesn't activate central locking, windows don't work, speaker is silent. I can only assume the loom is broken somewhere. ****ing Landies man, pain in the tits.

Loom between the a post and door, or just possibly a duff outstation.

My trusted mechanic installed new OE water pump, changed oil and filter, found and fixed the burst EAS line to air tank. Took an aeon to purge all the air out of the coolant pathways...longer than other tasks combined. I supplied the water pump and the oil. Cost £80 cash for labour and new oil filter. Later, I removed the shraeder valves feeding individual airsprings and recommissioned EAS. I was talking on phone at the time and got front lines in the wrong holes (awaiting John's comment on that one). Also need to extend rear lines by a couple of inches. Will do that tomorrow. Very happy bunny tonight...even happier tomorrow night when all squared up. Time to crack open a bottle of Shiraz methinks :~}
