Busy wee day for us diggin the foundations for the extension, went to the yard to get a Manitou
then drive it back a few miles & pick up a old hand crank diesel cement mixer. Del bust a water
pipe wiv the digger, so held us up for a bit, had to find the toby to turn the water off fkn 1/4 mile
away  concrete in with re-bar, no no pics yet.

Decided to sell the motorbike and get something smaller and lighter, it's getting too heavy for me to get in and out of the shed so reluctantly I put her on ebay last night for 99p. Took her through an mot yesterday as well even though she's now exempt tax and test.

re your number plate.
Last thing I'll say on this as I feel I am being just a mite OTT!

Normal service has now been resumed after a lovely week away.
It is a smashing sunny morning although there is a light ground frost - doesn't seem to have bothered the sheep and their lambs as they peer into my kitchen.
Enjoy your week, folks.
Must go - battery going flat ……………………………………….. laptop not mine.:)

Morning all. A not very busy saturday ahead. I've got 10 bricks to lay to some steps at me terrace. And enough sand for only 9. And I'm out of sand for slab layering but reluctant to order any more just yet, the verges outside Wimblowdriver Towers is being dug up for new broadband cabling and parking a wagon out there for offloading is a bit tricky at the mo . Might have to resort to gardinging this week.

I’ve got 3/4 tonne of sharp sand sat idle, ordered by the customer for rendering  fortunately I have acquired the same amount of washed plastering sand for the top coat
