I once had a colleague with an old Renault 5 with a plate with my initials on it, plus the correct final year letter for my Mini cooper lookalike. I offered to do everything for them paperwork the lot, plus pay the money, they just could not be assed. So I got the woman to promise me first refusal on the car when they sold it. (The letter combination is really rare).
Suddenly noticed her getting out of a newer car. Asked her what about her promise? "Oh you'd never have wanted to give us what the garage did in part ex."
    I was furious.
We didn't speak for quite a while.:(:(:(

    Ha typical :)
My mate Antony once bought a Pug 205 for the plate, seller couldn't understand why he wanted it as he had two cars already, the plate was ANT so he swapped plate and I bought the Pug off him for next to nowt, great car turbo diesel.

My point exactly. I'd have paid a premium for the car, with the plate and actually there was feck all wrong with the car might even have kept it. They'd have got a bigger discount on the car from the garage with nowt to part ex. But there was no telling them. Renault 5 was once the most common car in France. Always had a bit of a soft spot for them. Some went quite quick!;)

That's good news then although eye fink there's a fare bit wrong wiv yer.

Normally when peeps are ill we cheer them up by asking if we can have their vehicle if they snuff it. Strange it din't happen on this occasion.

Take it easy un keep a mobile wiv yer in case yer need more help than normal.
