Ha! Ha! On so many levels!!!
And no, even my ex was preferable to her!;)

Morning all!
Weather fine,
Shopping delivered bang on 10 a.m. nothing changed or missing!
Wifey had telephone consultation with her doc, didn't tell her that the headache may be due to muscle issues in her neck as "She doesn't want to go to the chiropractor" who is the person who sorted this out last time.
So the doc thinks it "might be a virus" (She never goes out) and not to worry unless she still has it in a fortnight's time. (She's already had it for a fortnight, or longer.)
We WILL be going out this affo, to look around an auction for tat and jewellery, Wifey's hobby, well one of them. Looking at some really exciting stuff.
An umbrella stand or two and a low table for the Teasmade.
"Stay my beating heart.":rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Spent yesterday "sculpting", literally, a piece of plasterboard, to go into the hole made when doing the plumbering. One bit cut out to go around where the pipe comes through, two bits hollowed off the back to accommodate other bits of pipe "stuff" protruding beyond the , whatever you call it. Stabilised and glued down bits of plaster and paper wiv a mix of water and PVA.
When i get a mo I'll file down the edges of both the hole, (which also was not quite regular, hence all the "sculpting"!) and the piece to go in it!
Then I'll find a bit of wood to support the bit that is a long way away from the stud.
(If I was @DanClarke I'd have done this in the time I took to write this out!)

Then I'll drill, screw, plaster over, sand back, paint....................and celebrate! Kitchen done!

Wifey won't celebrate, much she'll just say "Starting on the utility tomorrow then?":rolleyes::rolleyes:

Great 3 made to measure blinds measured by the boss. Two fit and the other is 10mm too large. They (she) measures the bottom of window which was spot on, beware barn conversions do not have perfectly square window sills. Anyway, deconstructed blind, measured four times, craft knifed the header material and then went searching for a hacksaw to cut the ally extrusion. I found some new hacksaw blades whilst searching for some other stuff the other day and I thought that’s handy. Could I find them again no . Anyway blinds done and I don’t recall using any swear words or the c bomb which is standard during my DIY.

Well done mate!:):):)
If that had been me, the miss-measuring would have been my fault!
At least it was too big rather than too small!:):):):)

Had forgotten the blinds are still to be done.:( I want to just rematerial the old ones which obvs would fit, but that ain't good enuff for Wifey:rolleyes:

Prepared my motorbike for MOT, no expense spared even put a new rubber in the gearshifter. Then found out it's now tax and mot exempt so off to the post office to register it as historic and get my free road tax Should be out this week end for a cruise if it's allowed

Well ..... post office wont tax it because it's not on data base as historic, sent v5 of to change tax class but in the meantime l booked an mot so l can tax it on line then claim some back when docs arrive , all ready to go, mot a 3.30, nice sunny day what's not to like

Hello there :)

Yet another clear start to the day but there are frosties everywhere.

Have a good fryday.

What is this 'Friday' of which you speak? Tis merely Tuesday morning in my current time zone:oops:

Had a bit of a play on the lathe. I am having to isolate before the hospital so still effectively in lockdown :(
I am not allowed to eat after 3:00pm tomorrow either. That will be a struggle as I like eating

My brother had to isolate last week, in hospital yesterday for a hernia op, that's him taking it easy for a week or two then.
