New mainboard for my fridge freezer in post, fitted and all working, now to wait until 2022 for a Tesco delivery. Somebody mentioned Iceland but the buggers don't deliver near me. Might have to actually go to a shop at this rate
We get deliveries from Waitrose and Sainsburies, Wifey being 73 get's them a bit easier (slots I mean) but she still wakes up and places them in the night at about 1 or 2 o'clock in the a.m. you can order any old stuff usually over a certain price amount, then modify it later. Then she rolls them over so she is always about 3 weeks ahead.. But keep on watching as sometimes people cancel and slots suddenly become free.
Have no idea if this helps, but we suffered at the beginning and had to get dottir to do it for us
Wifey has just said Tesco are also sometimes available in the middle of the night, and she only has priority with Waitrose.
Hope this helps in some way.:)

Have used tarmac scalpings for construction site compounds a couple of times. Like fresh tarmac it needs to go down on a good hardcore base otherwise it will just chew up. Avoid doing it in winter and on wet / puddled ground. Works really well on a good base in hot weather as the binder softens and re-binds the aggregates.

So ordering it now is a waste of time - bugga

Well you did say you were bored, didn't you?;)
That'll larn you!
Still at least you are having some fun, problem solving is always fun. Or is it?;)
Best of luck with the finish!:)
I did indeed call this down upon myself so I should not moan.;)
Once the glue has dried hard they can come and grab the bits and reassemble the thing back at their house.
What they are trying to do is provide a slide-aside toy storage rack for all the kids toys that will fit under their half-landing that protrudes into the lounge.
HE did all the measuring and asked for 16cm to be cut off the 2 uprights. Which is what I have done.

Managed to order a new worktop to replace the one we got ages ago, of wrong size.
Had to get a 900 mm wide one, 38mm thick, so it'll be F off heavy especially as there will be just me to move it around. It is replacing one that is 2.8 metres long.:eek::(:(
Coming Friday, so better get on and chop tother one out.:rolleyes:
So got bloody plumberin to do:rolleyes:
And Wifey has changed her mind on the colour of it, so we'll have white sparkle in the kitchen which she doesn't like, as it "scratches too easily" (we were warned of this) and now "black granite" ordinary old skool laminate in the utility, but the same coloured units! Light grey with some poncey name. "Cashmere" (ffs) (which actually looks all right.)

I be back from choppin'

The meat , bread and toilet roll shelves have been emptied... FFS

Edit: Not by me!
Why couldn't the silly feckers learn from the first two lockdowns that this behaviour it totally unnecessary?:mad:
We are so glad we get deliveries as they do the picking in the middle of the night when there IS stuff on the shelves. ;)
