I think I mentioned it a few weeks ago but it's working nights at a supermarket. I did an interview about 4 weeks ago but they sent me a "No Thanks" letter because they needed someone to start asap but I still had a month to go on my notice.
Anyway, they contacted me yesterday to see if I was still interested and this afternoon I signed all the paperwork.
The hours are very unsociable at 8pm 'til 7am but the pay is good and I'll only need to work 4 out of 7 days. There will of course be the opportunity for much overtime over the Christmas period which would help the bank balance.

It would appear that I have secured meself a full time job so unfortunately I won't be a man-of-lesiure over the Christmus period.
Not sure of the starting date yet but the HR lady is trying to arrange it so that I have a week off between leaving the current job and starting the new one.
