It starts at one an then before you know it youl have a full machine shop. I went to the place to rent it then something inside me was screaming out to buy the lot.

Due to the divorce he has had to turn his workshop into his new house so all his machinery, like this, is now stored somewhere. Dunno if he'll ever get it all back and running. I think he is retiring basically. but we'll see!I did just burst out laughing haha

not in the post i read and quoted,but nice of you to take the time to point out i hadnt read previous posts
"I put up a fence about afoot inside my boundary line when the old chap owned the house due to his hedge been in the way.
House change hands about 8 years ago & im just replacing a fence panel where I found the offending items.

That reminds me of my dad's workshop only his building was red brick.
Sadly, the business was sold after his death in 1952.

He has just let us know that he has just sold his mansion so he is a mill or so better off, although he will have to give half to his unc wot lent him the dosh to buy my stepdaughter out! covid 19 seems to have shifted the housing market into a higher gear. Hasn't done him any harm!Course, jus kiddin. Hope he gets sorted

Lot of that sort of stuff is really hard to get hold of down in Daaarset. And when you do a lot is triple phase of course. but nuthin that can't be sorted out.
It is just so good to get a ton of work done so quickly when you have the proper kit!!!

Certainly do remember them. Never thought they were a good idea, spotty youths with a monster bike and one of those was a lethal combination. When I was a yoof I bought a clapped out BSA A10 with a double adult bathyscope on the side, for use in the winter as I was still on L plates and was allowed on a provisional licence. The BSA was so clapped that it was soon stripped down and forgotten, and I went on to jap bikes which were a whole lot more reliable.
