Freelander 1 HELLO TO ALL

2004 TD4 HSE, 120k
Hello to all. Hope all are save from this madness.

Its been a week that i became the owner of a Wonderful HSE. I already Upgraded the breather to a oil separator, blanked the EGR. and change the front drop links (the front left was making clonk), by the way are there drop links on the rear?
But i have one issue, the brake lights are always on. I look under in the pedals and i see 2 switches...
do you know witch one i have to replace?
My FL has the nav single din...some how it doesn't work i have checked the fuses and they are all good. it comes with a Nokia base and micro maybe its something wrong in the back. (if anyone can give me some guidance to fix it, Many Thanks. How is with this SAT NAV? i know the car has a CD box under the driver seat, but it also opens the panel, should it have a nav cd inside?

didn't see anything like that
does your's have cruise control ?

I guess its the one you have on the pic. i went outside and took a photo ..... and you can see both of them....

i.e. if your brake lights be stuck on .. that be the likely culprit
[ looks like the original type .. best to replace it with the upgrade ]

other one in pic be sort of familiar ..
looks like the one i had to move to install the brake-light switch
i did try to figure what the other be for ..
all i got that it were possibly something to do with a hall effect sensor

and maybe be a part of the wiring meant for optional extras [ or maybe not ]
as ppl often find elec. connectors that mysteriously don't connect to 'owt

Well the old one costs half of the upgraded one....if the original worked for 16 years....
