Hi,
A very stupid question but here goes, noticed my LHS fog lamp unit is filled with water, pulled bottom hose, emptied, put back on, filled again over time. Bit more than condensation I say.

There is a top and bottom hose, just wanted to ask how what these two hoses do and where the water would come from? Drain from rain?

Not used screen wash etc as been on drive for months doing the engine.

They're breather pipes.

Because of their placement on the car it is common for moisture to gain access..

it is especially bad when the light is on

The bottom hose draws in fresh air the top one "because heat rises" draws the moisture out and it is a constant circle.. ;)

Check the around the cap, the seal can perish,
