Engine oil jelly-like

it”ll be alright mate don’t worry for the minute, can you clean the bits on the rocker cover with brake cleaner, then after that forte engine flush

yeah 45mins in the parts washer and it’s brand new. I was losing coolant but every time I checked I found a leak so assumed it was that. Then noticed my oil level high so assumed injector seals... but no fuel coming up and found the coolant in there.

Looking good Tom, maybe fuel cooler is weeping slightly causing it to go in the oil, or can that not happen?

That's what I was thinking. I would suspect the oil cooler but from what I've ready it's always the other way around - oil in the coolant.

Yep from what i've read that is also the case.

Pulling the head on a TD5 isn't too difficult, the hardest part is lifting the head off without an engine crane :eek:
 

There's no oil in the fuel cooler so I wouldn't think so. We did do the head gasket around November time, I don't know if that's disturbed anything
