Weak alarm receiver - disco2

Hi all,

My disco will only unlock if the key is within 20xm of the receiver near the sunroof. I’ve ordered a new one but how big of a job is this to change?

I’ve heard I need to remove the whole headlining but I’d really rather not. Is there an easier way I.e removing a small section?

It's in front of the rear sunroof and I've read it's poosible to access it if you take the headlining trim off around the sunroof.

Did you change the fob's battery first? checked with the second fob eventually ?

Tried both fobs so pretty sure it's the receiver. Amazing thanks will check it out!
