Polo heater

hi all

Can anyone who has done the polo heater upgrade possibly post some pictures please.

My 2a round smiths heater just isn’t cutting it now I’m that little bit older, and clearly feeling the cold more now!

This seems to be a favoured option without buying a night heater.

I have the square heater and its pretty effective, I have also tee'd in the rear heater off a taxi and fitted it in the back. The hoses run under the floor and come up behind the bulkhead.
Have you thought of fitting a pump to shove more water through?

The biggest improvement to my heater was getting it apart and cleaning it out, I thought the water was blocked but it was actually the air, it was full of dog hair (we don't have a dog).
The square heaters are silly money on e-bay but I've seen them at autojumbles for more sensible prices.

no idea about the polo heater, have you looked at the offerings from t7 design, should be a straightforward swap for your shin burner and provide more heat

haven't got round to buying one myself but iirc some people on here have one.

you could plumb your existing smiths into the tub for a bit more heat

Gave a lift to a colleague last night and had to turn my £130 diesel heater off after a few minutes as he couldn’t breathe.
I had switched it on via key fob across the car park when I arrived at the depot ten minutes earlier to defrost the windows

It’s always worked and very easily paired to an existing one with a spare button.
Not used it all summer and it fired up first time last week.
