spend a bit more and get stainless as stated. Your apparently not meant to spilt them but I did. Go gentle - instead of a boot and circlip they’re a stupid fragile ring seal thing at the top. Easily kinked if heavy handed. I cleaned lot out and redid with new seals, pistons and assembled with red rubber grease. Careful you get the right ones. Fronts are longer than the back but think you told me that when I realized fitment was wrong anyway!

Might just clean the discs and hope for the best and wait until it's back on the road for the calipers, quite a chunk of work to do the calipers on top of family time, unless I just swap them out for new ones to start with and then refurb in the warm and dry of the front room.

No work on the truck this week, been super hectic with the new job, my new ride at work.

Brand spanking new and it is a dream machine for an operator, powerful, fast and smooth. New firm so the Peugeot Partner van had to go back, miss the bluetooth DAB radio already but it's fun to back in a little Fiesta lol

Already fitted the carpet and got me slippers in the cab, the life of a machine driver hey

A place called Yapton, an absolute hell hole of a place to get to as you have to negotiate the Bermuda Triangle known as the Chichester bypass, it makes the M27 roadworks seem like a hyperlink lol

I am reliably informed that I will be heading Havant bound after Christmas as this thing will be too big once I have smashed in the drainage

Brake pipe making.

All fitted up and leak free

New T piece on the back axle as that decided it had enough of life and stripped the threads as I tried to undo it

Truck load of painting done too.

Used the EziBleed from Gunson, just the job, need to thrash it up an down the little lane to burn off the rusty pads and discs, the list has shrunk and it feels really good

Been out to play tonight, back bumper on along with the trim and I found the bits for the passenger side back mudflap and the cable for the bumper indicator relays so that can be done too.

Only got Tuesday an Wednesday nights to get done as Thursday night I gotta drop it off at the garage

Well after a lot of searching I might have found a wrecker to go cut chunks out of.

No MOT tomorrow, found a new spot of rust that needs attention.

Was cleaning the interior out in readiness for the MOT tomorrow and as I grabbed the windscreen door post it felt odd, and not the kind of odd that I could let go......

Cameron the MOT tester popped in on his way home and confirmed that it is an MOT failure and needs fixed

This thing hates me, I know that but it's getting silly now lol

Postponed by a week, welding on Sunday and tidy up anything little left over that needs done.

Oh well, could be worse, not sure how or with what but it could be worse lol

Not really sure but he said it's part of the structure and has major corrosion,was tempted to just slap some cammo duct tape on it and hoping for the best but he is the MOT tester at my local garage and a top bloke all round TBH I thought it best to consult him.

It's fine, Rusty hates me, we're going to counselling and I'm sure we are going to get through this, there are both emotional and physical scars that have been endured for us both during this relationship, coming to terms with our troubles is the first step towards our healing..........

If that doesn't work then Silverlake scrapyard and lots of free time for me will be just fine
