Discovery 2 alloys

I know I may get slated here but I want some slightly bigger alloys on the discovery 2 basically like the one in the Picture

So I would like 20s on there and there is either the stormer alloy as pictured or will a range rover evoque alloy fit?

A D2 would not really suit 20s. But technically any d3/4/RRS alloy will fit with a hub shim,on a D2 hub. I think it would ride like a bag of sh!te though. Those cars all have Independent suspension not beams.

Thanks for replying! maybe its a bit of personal preference, the rolling radius would be almost the same wouldnt it?, yeah i guess it wouldn't be as forgiving in bumps and a little "stiffer" but in reality the only off road its going to see is some snow and maybe a bit of gravel and an occasional field

am i still bonkers?

Have seen posts on here confirming ride in 18s is harsher than 16s when they've "upgraded". Seems reasonable to deduce 20s will be even more so.
Me, I'm happy isolated from the cobbles we have up north but each to their own!

20 inch look okay, the “ride” aways suffers with thin tyre side walls but handling can improve on some vehicles.

All in the eye of the beholder... me, I like some rubber and air between the bumps and potholes...

I too think fitting 20" alloys would be a mistake, but if as you say you intend to keep the same radius of 29" then you are looking at 255/45/20 tyres. You can get Bridgestone Dueller or Pirelli Scorpions in that size,,,,,,, a snip at £250 a piece.

A lot of money to spend to make a proper 4x4 look like an SUV.

I think they’re 22s on that pic

I’m slowly liking my 18s I just know in my view it will look better on 20s I may just stick with them a bit and see how I feel in 6 months when the tyres are about ready to replace

then you are looking at 255/45/20 tyres.

I just discarded 2 Nexen s with only 3K miles this afternoon, they could have had them for free.

Whatever you get, make sure they have the correct load rating, otherwise you may find the outside edge wearing very quickly if it is less than specified. Plus you should get the right load rating / speed rating anyway.

ive a set of nuts for d3/d4 wheels, as the one i bought had d4 wheels on, but i sold the wheels,
