Just been to eurothingyparts to collect an oil filter, then to halfrauds for the oil which their website says in stock but wasn't. But while I was there I got a new funnel to replace the one on the right of the pic which has done many years of service. The new label says it is orange. It certainly is. Back home and ordered the oil from somewhere else and comes with a new filter as well, for about the same money as halfrauds without a filter! so next years filter borted.
For the rest of the day I will be mostly painting in the spare bedroom while waiting for new oil, antifreeze etc to be delivered. Oily fingers and driveway later in the week.

Yep, that one I have the sting is only as bad as a bee, its the little brown buggers with the small pincers and big fat sting that you have to worry about

Just caught flight from the smoke back to emerald isle. Missed the coach to airport, crashed range rover just before Luton airport turn off so down to queue and crawl. Stopped at customs. Had to run straight to gate to get flight. Too old for all that sh1t.

I hate airports and all that ****e, I have only flown twice in the past 15 years or so, I would rather use the ferry and spend a couple of days driving.

Had all that when we was building the house . All that driving back and forth with van and trailer gotme in the end. I have to go back regular to see my old mum so ferry works out to long a d expensive. Door to door, 5 hours, a d three of those hours is the shortest bit from airport to mums.

The ferry is an expensive faff too, my mother lives in Dublin so handy enough when you get off the ferry but still haven't been over there in years, I checked ferry prices this Christmas and it was near enough £500 including petrol. It is hard to swallow when you can get a week all inclusive in the Caribbean for the same price. I like Guinness but I do like rum too
