Freelander 2 knocking when turning in reverse

Has anyone experienced a Freelander 2 that has started making a knocking noise when turning and reversing at the same time. I have looked at the diff mounting brackets as that seemed a common issue.

Feels a bit like the diff is locking or maybe one brake is grabbing.

No warning lights and started happening suddenly. Car was serviced 2 weeks ago and rear pads replaced last week.

Anyone think of anything else I can check before taking it to someone.

Update, turning HDC on and off seems to have made the problem go away for the moment. Anyone had this happen, will it come back?

I'd see if any codes are stored in the Terrain Response module. When was the Haldex unit last serviced?

Just had a 96k service, I will find out what they touched. I presume a special bit of kit is required to read the codes? I did speak to a local place that said they could plug it in if it comes back. Not sure if I should do it anyway
