Diesels don't usually need oil between changes. Where's it going?

Leaking pipes to the cooler or the cap of the filter leaking? Not normal to use so much oil.

It's empty. Fill it up, quick!

Mark's had the French F*ckup Fitters playing with his. Heaven knows what has happened.
Burning it I fear but no blue smoke either??
The engine had no leaks at and I mean at all.
I changed the oil about 1000 miles ago. Nine litres and a new filter.
Don't forget it's on 211.000 'ish miles but passed the mot on émissions with no advisory.
A little ramp time is needed...

Rang the LR main stealer for a cost to get the 8 speed gearbox oil and filter changed.....Glad I was sat down in a comfy seat.

A good independent should be able to do it.

The lifeguard fluid is like liquid gold.

Ridiculously expensive

Cheers

@Henry_b

I should hope an independant could do it, otherwise they should not be in business.

ONly asked the LR Stealer to get a reference, was not expecting the national debt of the congo.
Cheers

The biggest expense is the oil, lifeguard 8 is around £24 a litre last I checked and you need around 7-8 litres depending.

Then there is the filter.

Plus labour!

Expensive box.

Henry,

I have looked into the costs, so know how much the oil costs and labour rates etc.

Do you care to guess how much the LR stealer wanted?

Cheers
