URGENT 
I'm assuming a freelander 2 as it has a dvd player. Or i should say, DVD reader for the SatNav i believe. Check connections to the device, check it is getting power. Most devices that take a disc will have a manual ejection, idk i don't have a freelander. Normally a very small hole that you can poke with a paperclip or something.
