Has anyone lowered a LR?

It wouldn't need much, just enough to get it under the garage door as currently it only clears the top by deflating the tyres and standing on the back.

I'm about to start thinking about budget shocks and possibly springs if needed. I won't be doing tons of deep mud off roading so a slight reduction in height would be more useful to me potentialy.

Is it a bad idea to lower a LR slightly? Is there a way to do it without costing too much?

Post a pic of the front of your garage plenty of builders on here will give advice...

Possibly not the clearest angle of the garage. Plenty of room at the moment but won't be long before everything starts going back together again.

Simplest solution might just be a carefully selected dip in the ground with a pneumatic drill.

Don't see what your problem is I think your over thinking your problem that will fit easily under the door IMHO...LOL

Choices appear to be 4 fold. All depends exactly how much clearance you need to achieve.

!) Take garage roof off and increase height by at least 6"

2) Change up and over door for some folding or outward opening doors.

3) lower the garage floor by an inch or two

4) Lowering spring

When it went in it was only the back end that was just shy of cleaning so maybe a dip in the ground is the simplest solution
